About the Melrose Alliance Against Violence

Formed in 1995, the Melrose Alliance Against Violence (MAAV) is a nonprofit community-based organization that focuses on outreach, education, and community collaboration in order to raise awareness of relational violence that manifests through bullying, unhealthy friendships, teen dating abuse, and domestic and intimate partner violence. ​

Our programs include community awareness activitiesoutreach and support for relational violence victimstraining for parents/caregivers and professionals, and education and prevention programs for youth.
