Today, we're highlighting another member of MAAV's Board of Directors: Jodi Dwyer!

Jodi joined the Board in 2010. She currently is a clinical social worker with a specialty in oncology. As a clinical social worker with 15 years of experience in multiple settings, she has seen the impact of domestic violence on clients and their families firsthand.

Jodi has volunteered on MAAV’s Walk Committee for several years, and says she was drawn to MAAV because she has seen domestic violence affect the lives of friends.

She says, “I joined MAAV because I believe in raising awareness and providing education for prevention. We are so fortunate to have MAAV as a resource and I'm proud to be a part of making a difference for people in the community.”

And here’s a fun fact about Jodi: When she’s not working, she enjoys biking and traveling!

It’s Community Day at Melrose High School, where students are offered the chance to participate in workshops on a variety of topics. We were thrilled that MHS student Kathryn Lawrence chose to lead a workshop on teen relationships, with some help from members of the Student Action Board! They had a great discussion with some MHS students this morning! ... See MoreSee Less
