MAAV is thrilled to introduce Crystal Johnson as our new Safe Steps Counselor! Crystal will provide support to children and families at the elementary level, and serve as a resource to school staff. She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Boston College with a Trauma Program Certificate. Previously she has worked at DOVE, a domestic violence agency in Quincy, and as a Children’s Domestic Violence Advocate in Washington State. Crystal currently resides in Boston, spending a lot of her time de-stressing with her cats, Luna and Olive. She also enjoys backpacking, traveling, and finding new restaurants.
