Everyone Deserves Healthy, Safe Relationships

Formed in 1995, the Melrose Alliance Against Violence (MAAV) is a nonprofit community-based organization focusing on outreach, survivor support,  education, and community collaboration  to raise awareness of relational violence –including bullying, teen dating abuse, and domestic/intimate partner violence.

For anyone experiencing relational violence - domestic, teen dating abuse, or intimate partner violence, MAAV is here to help. Our referral services support victims, survivors, and their loved ones, in finding the resources they need.

Our prevention programs with children, youth, and adults provide healthy relationships education and awareness to end the cycle of relational violence.

Knowing that domestic and intimate partner violence exist in our community, and that it can impact anyone, is the first step to finding   solutions.
